We have had to cancel numerous appointments since the lockdown began 3 months ago and are prioritising appointments for our existing patients who have had dental emergencies or appointments cancelled.

Our online booking service is temporarily suspended. To book an appointment please call us.

Please do not attend the clinic unless you have an appointment.

At Adams House Dental Practice the most important thing is patient safety and comfort, and that is why we have spent the time of closure upgrading the clinic and introducing the following measures to keep our patients and staff SAFER than ever.

The clinic as you are aware was always a very clean and safe environment. However, we have placed hand sanitisers at entry points, upgraded our PPE and redisigned the patient journey in line with social distancing.

We will be conducting pre-screening tests of patients which is likely to include taking your temperature on arrival.

We will be booking your appointments to ensure that the Practice and waiting areas are not overcrowded. We will do this by leaving suitable gaps between appointments, making sure that you can attend the practice while maintaining a suitable distance from one another in accordance with government guidelines.

To further avoid overcrowding when you arrive at the practice, we ask that you wait in your car or in a safe place outside of the practice until called in. We will notify you via your phone when you should enter the practice.

You will be required to fill in all relevant forms on our electronic device as you enter the practice. This means that you will not have to touch a pen or paper. We will ask that you pay using a contactless card. This crucial step greatly reduces touch points at the practice.

Between all appointments as always, the dental team will thoroughly disinfect the dental surgery, reducing the risk of exposure to anything harmful while you are in our dental chair.

TEMPORARY COVID SUPPLEMENT CHARGE

For us to open as business as usual we have had to implement a charge of £20 towards extra measures we have had to put into place including:

-Extra personal protective equipment/Inflated costs
-Extra staff
-Extra training
-Fallow time between appointments for aerosols to settle and deep cleaning
-Extra cleaning materials

We understand this may not be favourable to you and we are dissapointed that we have had to ask patients to pay this fee; it is a temporary charge which we fully intend to remove as soon as possible.

These measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of both the patient and the staff.

We have opened to offer a service to our patients where other practices have decided to remain closed, other practices have had to close their doors permanently as they cannot afford to run any more.
